Alpha
- leaders

Beta
- naturally known as the second rank or second in command
- If something occured or happened to the alpha(s) such as illness/death/weakness then the beta(s) would step in
- strong natural leader
- right paw of the alpha
- willing to serve where needed
- do what he/she can for the pack
- ensures a better home and environment for all
Elder
- wolf of age and experience
- gives advice to the Alpha's and Beta's
- their opinions are thought of highly, seeing there experience as an old wolf
- teach the Young and the old alike
- normally wolves who've had a past of Alpha, Beta or some other rank and are looking for a place to rest, and call home, to finally rest there tired old soul
- wise and trust worthy wolf
- teach of there experiences of there life, there wise, and teach the pups, young and old alike
- kind and gentle hearts
- involved in not only advising adults but also the children/youn
- teach the young the pack customs so they get used to the life ahead of them
- hope to teach wisdom and understanding to the children/young as well as important skills such as hunting
- knowledgeable and wise, patient and generous.
Scout
- looks out for the pack and well being
- responsible to keep strangers in check, ensure there are no wolves who intend to cause harm to the pack
- in charge to meet the new wolves if the Alpha(s) or Beta(s) are not present
- much like sentinels
- ensure the pack is safe from other intruders
- go out and scout the territory ensuring there's not a change
- ensure that no other outsider wolves have marked over boundaries
- familiar with neighboring packs, and are to report any changes with that pack to the Alpha(s) Beta(s) if any
Guardian
- execute the same principals as the scou
- more inclined to be with the pack and protecting the pack boundaries
- staying with the pack in time of need or suspicious activities
- usually scout out the territory but not far from the boundaries
- show a keen spirit to protect the pack and a strict attitude and seriousness that carries to the pack, to help keep its unity
- responsible for informing the Alpha(s) and/or Beta(s) should something new arise
- respected within the pack for their bravery and chivalry to guard the home in which they love and would defend with honor and pride
Caretakers
- considered to be the 'healers
- tend to those ill, sick, injured and the young
- usually stay behind in hunts if enough wolves are present to watch after the young (if there are any)
- vital role they ensure the healthy state of each individual within the pack
Pups
- either born or adopted into the pack
- newborn
